Piano Guild

Last Tuesday I went to a Piano Guild. It was my first time so I really didn’t know what it was like. Well what happens is you go into this concert hall and play on this huge Steinway grand piano (that was fun) in front of a judge. While you are playing she scores you on your dynamics (how loud and soft you play) your speed etc.
You can get A's and C's, C's are good A's are bad. C stands for special Commendation and A stands for needs Attention. Before I went in I got really nervous, so much so that I was shaking, well I just kept praying for calmness and I had to pray again after each song I played. I got 24 Cs and 1 A!
I’m really thankful to God for giving me the calmness to get through it and actually not doing horribly. So I’m pretty excited on how I did. My only A was that I needed to end the song with more enthusiasm.
I had a lot of fun and I’m glad I went even though I really didn’t want to in the beginning.

What Cookie Are You?

Last Saturday I went to a thing at our church for women called Women of Exellence, this year we also had a Girls of Exellence. It was really fun! One of the things we talked about was- What kind of cookie are you?

Spiced Oatmeal ~ Good and wholesome at first glance but with hidden rebellion

Chocolate Chip ~ Caring and full of mercy but sometimes you find yourself with a mess on your hands

'Nilla Wafer ~ It's simple, you become what ever the person you are with at the time wants you to be

Oreo ~ You may look dark and hard on the outside but you are really hiding a softness and sweetness inside

Peanut Butter ~ You're totally nuts! If you are funny enough, no one can see that you are crying inside

Sugar ~ Sure at times your broken a strange shape or color but your willing to change as God shows you what He wants you to be

Authentic Beauty

Hi! so I havn't made an entry in a while.... sorry I just have no idea what to write sometimes.I sit down at the computer and my mind just goes blank................... lol.

For Valentines Day my big bro and his fiance gave me a book called authentic beauty by Leslie Ludy. It's for young women who dream of finding their prince and being treated like a princess, and about having a special relatonship with your true prince- Jesus. I haven't finished reading it yet, but it's really interesting so far.
